IN-TUNE A CAPPELLA

In-tune with Christ both spiritually and vocally!

Name: Joseph Kongoro
Age: 19
Occupation: Student
Voice: Versatile Tenor 11 and Tenor 1
In-Tune: Chaplaincy
Hobbies: singing, football and 'vybing', which has proved to be very destructive in the past! hehehe

Jose is a very down to earth sort of guy who, in everyone's opinion i guess, gives In-Tune its extra touch of humanity but definitely not sanity! When he gets down to business, Jose is very constructive and highly critical, but then again when it gets down to the jokes...it may be alittle bit more extra!

Joseph has the uncanny humor that very few human beings possess these days and he always helps the rest of the guys look forward to a brighter forcast for the future. His optimism is as wide as Lake Victoria and his compassion as deep as the Tanganyika. He attended Starehe Boys' High School, a prestigious suburban institution in the city, and from where he developed his reflexive tendencies to pride and superiority.

This however adds to the complex mix that is one of In-Tune's founding members and ardent number one fan. He developed his voice a bit late, largely due to the fact that he was admittedly shy and reluctant to fulfil the huge potential his voice could give him, but with the numerous shows that In-Tune has attended and the open minded encouragement of Chris and myself, thank God, he has developed to be a vocal force worth reckoning with.

He is the chaplain of sorts of the group and with that he is with the task of keeping In-Tune in tune with our spiritual roots and goals. His one weakness is...as we have all told him time and again, women.

About this blog

Keep In Tune in your prayers as we struggle to reform ourselves after the mini-breakup we had. Some of our members left the group, but we've worked around it all and are getting back on our feet. We are continuing with our schools ministry and outreach and welcome and contributions and suggestions you may have...

Sabato

Well...here are the lyrics to the song 'Sabato'. In-Tune's purely original piece;

(prelude humming)

Mola wangu, nakusifu siku ya leo,
usifiwe milele duniani kote,
twakupenda na mioyo yetu yote,
usifiwe...,Mungu wetu..., hasa Sabato...

chorus
siku teule... siku takatifu..., iliyotakaswa...
sabato*2
Rabuka Rabana Moliwa*2
twakupenda twakusifu kila siku...

chorus*2

(humming by base*2)
(humming in unison)
