Just this week in Kenya there was a controversial case about a Nairobian man, a Mr. Dola Indidis, who was going to court over the fact that over 2000 years ago, Jesus Christ of Nazareth was wrongly dubbed as a 'criminal'. He wants to instead brand the likes of the Jewish High Priests, Pontius Pilate and all the concerned insighters of the age as barbaric liars!
On the morning of the 30th of August, the High Court in Nairobi decided that the matter about Jesus' crucifixion allegations was not urgent and therefore the case was postponed. Now, the funny thing is thatyou would have expected the man to be complaining that Jesus was innocent: In fact, the man says that Jesus was accused of blasphemy and was wrongly crucified...He should have been stoned to death as stipulated by the law then!
The other small matter is the fact that the defendants: Emperor Tiberius, Governor Pilate, KIng Herod of Gallilea, Jewish High Priests and Teachers of the Law are not present. They died 2000 years ago! What do you think?
